Environment Kernow supports the strengthening and growth of environmental businesses throughout Cornwall. The Workforce Development Project works with these businesses to capture their specific training needs. This information will be used collectively to produce a training plan for the environmental business sector.
This project has a strong emphasis on giving the businesses involved ownership over the information contained within the training plan. It endeavours to ensure that the training needs identified reflect what is required to both support their current practices and to promote growth and development.
The aim of the Workforce Development Project is to ensure that any future funding can be targeted appropriately for businesses to gain the maximum benefits.
